Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th, 1961) was an American actress. Known for her work in television and in film since the late 1980s she's won numerous awards including two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett born in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt after being born in New York New York, is well-known as an actress. Bassett as well as her younger sister aged five, old, made the move away from the city of their birth to St. Petersburg to live with the mother of their divorced father. Bassett watched the James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play while she was still in high school, and realised that she was an actor and was looking to pursue. She was a student at Yale University New Haven Connecticut and graduated with a bachelor's degree (1980) on African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. She was introduced to Courtney B. Vance, a fellow actress at Yale and they married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. In African-American Studies, the year 1980. Angela Bassett is currently working in one of the lead roles as Ramonda in the action film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
